Our Teachers

Ahyeong Park

A gentle guide and steady presence, Ahyeong sees yoga as an act of remembering—reconnecting with the strength and wisdom already within you. Her intention is simple: to help you feel at home within yourself, just as you are.

Ahyeong Park

Ahyeong is a gentle yoga teacher whose path to the mat was shaped by years working in international development and human rights—fields that are deeply human, emotionally demanding, and ask us to keep showing up with compassion and clarity. These experiences taught her the weight of holding space for others and, just as importantly, the necessity of returning home to herself.

Yoga became that home. It became the way she listened inward, softened her edges, and rooted into something steadier. Over time, she has come to see yoga not only as a practice of movement and breath, but as an intimate act of remembering—of reconnecting with the strength, softness, and wisdom already living within us.

As your teacher, her intention is to hold space with care and reverence—for your body, your breath, your story. She believes you already hold everything you need within you. Her role is simply to help you feel more at home in yourself.

In her classes, we practice to ground. To return. To remember.

And to carry that steadiness out into the world.

Guillermina (Gina) Lahitte

For Gina, the greatest gift of both the teachings and the practice of meditation has been finding truth within silence and the observation of the Law of Nature. She now leads the Vipassana group sitting on Svalbard, holding space for students to be more present within.

Guillermina (Gina) Lahitte

Gina is a dedicated Vipassana practitioner who has served at Dhamma Viriya in Córdoba, Argentina—spending a year and a half in service as Center Manager. Through her time in deep seva, she has become a grounded representative of the Dhamma in daily life. She now leads the Vipassana group sitting on Svalbard, holding space for old students to sit together in the northernmost corner of the world.

For Gina, the greatest gift of both the teachings and the practice has been finding truth within silence and the observation of the Law of Nature. She is also happy to support anyone curious about taking their first course, and can walk them through how the Vipassana courses are organized and what to expect.

Ying Chang

In Ying's yoga and meditation classes, she prioritizes awareness. Rather than striving to perform, these sessions are invitations to observe, to cultivate a deeper relationship between body and mind, and to come home to who you already are.

Ying Chang

Ying Chang is a Taiwanese / American artist, meditation and yoga practitioner whose work explores the relationship between attention, rhythm, and presence. On the page, on the mat, or on a meditation cushion, she is drawn to the quiet discipline of returning to each present moment.

After leaving a structured career in New York City to pursue a life guided by inner alignment, Ying spent three years living on the road before calling Svalbard her home. Along the way, she slowly realized that creativity, like yoga and meditation, does not come from chasing something new or better, but from continuously returning to oneself.

In her yoga and meditation classes, she prioritizes awareness. Rather than striving to perform, these sessions are invitations to observe, to cultivate a deeper relationship between body and mind, and to come home to who you already are. This same philosophy runs through her artistic practice, where repetition becomes a path to presence and each return is an opportunity to begin again.

Masoom Roulin

Masoom brings the same quiet presence and attentiveness to every class, whether online or in person. As a longtime Ashtanga practitioner and artist, she treats movement and breath as a meditative practice, guiding students to return fully to the present moment on their mat.

Masoom Roulin

Masoom is a Belgo-Indian Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga practitioner, teacher, and artist whose path has taken her from Brussels to Mysore, India, the birthplace of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. She trained and worked as an architect before moving to Mysore in 2023, where she has been practicing daily under the guidance of her teacher, Vijay Kumar, ever since.

She approaches both Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga and drawing as meditative practices, each inviting us to return to the present moment: one through movement and breath, the other through stillness and attentive observation of the world. In her classes, whether online or in person, she brings the same presence and attention to every student on the mat.
